The registrar makes an entry to the register on the transfer of ownership to securities of the legator in accordance with the Certificate of inheritance by law or Certificate of inheritance by will issued by the notary. If the number of heirs is more than one and the submitted certificate of inheritance does not indicate a specific number of shares to be transferred to each of the heir, the Registrar shall open an account of joint ownership of the common property. If, in the presence of the Registrar’s employee or the notary, the agreement is made on the share of securities among co-owners indicating the number of shares allocated to each heir, the Registrar shall open personal accounts for all heirs.
In order to transfer the ownership of securities as a result of inheritance in the register of JSC WTC it is necessary to:
- Fill out an application form to open a personal account for an individual,
- Fill out an application form of the registered person in accordance with the Rules of the Registrar,
- Provide the Registrar with the original or a certified copy of the Certificate of inheritance by law (or by will),
- Pay through a bank for services of the Registrar in relation to the transfer of ownership as a result of inheritance (see the Price list).
